ACCOMMODATION DESCRIPTION
The main idea of this tourist agency "Jut-Cetina" is to promote ecological tourism and to revitalize the real values of a Dalmatian village, and the one of Poljica.
The agency name (Jut) symbolizes our tradition, but also expresses a great deal of our hopes and expectations. It contains main propositions and ideas, promoting reestablishment of pure nature and the way our grandfathers lived in it.
Who can show how our fathers lived on that poor, but at the same time blessed piece of land, better than the descendants of those very people?
Those are people who are able to tell you a hundred-year-old story about Jut, they can show you how people mastered Jut, by working hard and by loving it, or it might be better to say how they grew close to the nature and how it returned the deed.
Those stories have been told to us a lot of times, and in some of them we took an active part. In some of them we keep working on the inheritance and pledge ("karma"), our ancestors left us. That's what we want to share with all the people of good will, not to forget that energy of past times and to make it continue living in some other circumstances.
By starting this project we hope to be on the right way, and that a suggestion of yours, as well as your arrival, will make us succeed in our purpose to protect the nature, and at the same time to create a place, where a chance traveller could have a rest and enjoy the nature just in the way our ancestors treated it - with respect, since it still feeds us, protects us and gives us hope in better future.
Our aim is not to destroy that all, but to adjust civilisation achievments and pure nature to all its courses and regulations.
With this agency we aim to revive Jut and nature, which will result in the welfare of nature and people who will be staying and enjoying the beauty of this very nature.
The nature itself can be better protected, maybe because people will be willing to protect it from destruction, since Jut shall live again and the nature will be needed in everyday life.
