The municipality has a cultural and art group "Dalmacija" that gather young people from the municipality and foster cultural and folklore traditionsof this region. Both of these societies have had notable results in the country and abroad.
The "Dalmacija" Cultural and Art Society from Dugi Rat has a fourthy year-old tradition and its members make it one of the largest societies in Dalmatia.
The Society was founded in 1967. and since then has been gathering young people wishing to preserve the Croatian cultural folk tradition, particularly in Dalmatia.
Also, in the municipality of Dugi Rat there are ten various sports clubs that gather a lot of young people. |
