 Old Duce Each village boasts some historic monument. Some have churches more than 200 years old, old village cemeteries, belltowers. Surrounded by luxuriant vegetation, far from the city noise or any industry whatsoever, enjoying non-polluted air, mild climate and above all a magnificent view of the sea and islands (Brac, Hvar, Solta), they are something that every tourist will be impressed by at first sight.

The vincinity of Split, which is only 20 km away from Dugi Rat and the vincity of Omiš which is only 10 km away from Dugi Rat, Makarska and Trogir (35 km) makes it possible for the guests to visit other Dalmatian destinations and offer an opportunity to explore the broader area.
Excursions by boat to the near Islands are mostly organized from harbour of Krilo - Jesenice or Omis which are a picturesque sites for any tourist. The picture of the Krilo port with "a dense wood" of masts and sails of old ships found its place in every tourist brochure in the country and abroad.

What to see?
OMIŠ - A coastal, mediaeval town located in a picturesque canyon of the Cetina river. Five kilometres up to the Cetina canyon, there is "Radmanove Mlinice", an excursion place for famous for bread baked under coals and for fresh trout.
SPLIT - A town of classical Roman, old Croatian, Romanesque and renaissance architecture, with a Mediterranean atmosphere. It is well-known for sports and shipbuilding.
THE ISLAND OF HVAR - The town of Hvar, the biggest settlement on the island, abounds in Romanesque and Renaissance buildings, and Mediterranean atmosphere. It bears the name of Croatian Madeira. The town of Jelsa, the second biggest on the island, is famous for its vintage Dalmatian wines.
