Dugi Rat beach
The municipality of Dugi Rat stretches on a length of 12 km by the sea, from the village Podstrana to the town Omis, in the coastal part of the historical Republic of Poljica. If we come on the Adriatic road from the east and pass the area of Dugi Rat we will meet the lively villages Duce, Dugi Rat, Orij, Mali Rat, Sumpetar, Suhi Potok, Krilo and Bajnice. Two old villages are located below the mountain Mosnjice: Duce, Krug, Zeljovici and Jesenice.
