Dugi Rat is situated in the middle of this linear city. It’s former factory complex stands on a, for the whole Dalmatian coastline, unique horizontal plain. Dugi Rat’s plain might provide this region of central Dalmatia with public urban facilities and investments in tourism which have to preserve a big amount of public facilities and take actively part in life of local comunity.

Plans for Tourist resort development

In June 2006 Landmark property Management, a real estate investment company incorporated in Luxembourg, acquired the first parcel of land in the site assembly project that has become known as Korenat Point Resort. It is a 21 hectare tourist resort development site situated on a mainland peninsula in Dugi Rat. The level site provides unrivalled access to the sea with 220 degree panoramic views to the Island of Brac.

The site includes 142,000 sq.m. of freehold land and the project has the full support of local and central government ensuring its status as a luxury tourist resort offering a 200 bed hotel and club, a waterside village with retail and recreational facilities including an 350 berth marina.
